A superb display ammonite from a locality which is no longer accessible to the collector. Stephanoceras is one of the most attractive ammonites for either the collector or indeed an interior designer. The ammonite itself has a perfect centre and has been prepared on a small piece of matrix which has a cut base for ease of display. Approximately 170 million years old. Prepared by Andy Cowap.
