Most Dactylioceras specimens are found in small nodules however this very fine example was discovered in a large septarian nodule thus giving it a different preservation from the normal "run of the mill" examples. The preservation and colour is exceptional and the specimen has a cut base for ease of display. A lovely and rare specimen.
