description
This is an exceptionally rare partial fossil spider which consists of a more or less complete abdomen. Fossil spiders are incredibly rare in the fossil record due to the soft tissue which normally decomposes after death. The specimen preserved in a hard ironstone nodule, also has preserved some plant material. This is a rare opportunity to obtain such a fine example.
