Another wonderful display fossil prepared by Andy Cowap. These solid calcite highly ribbed ammonites are highly collectable especially with interior designers. The centre is immaculate. Many hours of preparation has gone into this fossil. The specimen has a level matrix base for ease of display. This ammonite is rare becuase the locality is no longer accessible to collect fossils. Approximatley 167 million years old.
