From this acid etched piece of Whitby rock have been preserved a couple of lovely Ichthyosaur teeth. Ichthyosaur's were one of the most abundant marine reptiles of the date. The quality of the teeth is very good and they would make a lovely addition to any collection.
This is a stunning and exquisitely preserved partial crocodile jaw from the Oligocene period. The specimen exhibits five tooth sockets and a beautiful dimpling on the outer surface. We cannot stress the quality of this piece!!
We at Fossils Direct strive to bring unusual and rare material for sale to the collector. Here we have a very rare mammal incisor tooth from an extinct pig like creature. It belonged to the extinct genus of Anthracotheriid artiodactyl with roamed the land some 30 million years ago. The specimen has been preserved matrix free and is of good size. A great addition to any collection.
