This beautiful high ribbed example will make a unique and highly decorative item for either the home or indeed office space. This famous Oolithic locality has long since been inaccessible to collect fossils, so they are rare to obtain nowadays. There are also two partial belemnite guards at the top of the matrix which really adds to the overall aesthetics. The matrix has a level base for upright display and is approximately 167 million years old.
A lovely multi specimen which has been preserved in pale yellow calcite. Two of the ammonites have been predated on leaving gaping bite marks probably by predatory fish. The matrix has a cut base for ease of display and is approximately 200 million years old.
